City Licenses are issued to align with the rabies vaccination, you must have a valid rabies certificate to register your pet. A City License will not be issued past the expiration of the rabies certificate. Licenses are $10 a year if your pet is spayed or neutered; $18 a year if not altered.

Lifetime Licenses can be purchased for a one-time fee of $52 if your pet is micro-chipped, spayed/neutered and current on rabies.

Rabies certificates can be mailed with a check for the appropriate fee to: The Salina Animal Shelter 329 N 2nd St, Salina, KS, 67401

Drop off your rabies certificate and payment in our drop box at the front door.  We will mail your license back; OR

Call the office and make an appointment and we will help you out in person.
